Preparing for Take off

Last Day up here this winter :( AND it is sunny.

I am studying for my Calculus Mid-term, which I will write on Friday or Saturday.

I will also start cramming English terms into my head for the Exam coming up next month.

On Monday I am flying over to Switzerland for the Haute Route, and I will be back on the 4th of May. I will be in school on the 7th.

I have updated my super-fit log. I will be back sooon!

I still need to complete my 2 English quizzes and some other poetry related projects. I may need some catch up time when I get back!

That's about it. I guess this makes this the very last ever blog post from the Durrand Glacier School of Higher Education..... (unless there is a reading break special next year).

Working through unit 4! Almost caught up

Superfit:

Lots of super fitness- updated log

Test Day

Calculus:

• Finished Extra Practice Review
• Wrote Unit 2 test

English:

• Finished Taming of the Shrew

Also:

• Wrote a scholarship essay

Tooosday

Calculus:

• completed 1/2 review
• checked review
• began test study

Super fit:

• ski to P2 (so nice to be alive again!)

So far...

This weekend and Monday:

• completed English Tabloid
• Continued chapter 3 calculus
• wrote Fred Olynyk essay
• packaged up scholarship stuff

Friday :)

English:

• Finished reading Act 4 of Taming of the Shrew
• Completed Induction questions, and Act 1, 3, 4 Questions
• Worked on Tabloid assignment
• Worked on Who's Who in Padua assignment

Calculus:

• Continued with unit 3 work

Other:

• Sent off UBC scholarship and finished 9 other applications
• Still have to write 2 essays

It's been a While!

Hello again,

I went skiing in Whistler last week... (where I did my schoolwork)

English:

• read up to Act 4 Scene 4
• Completed Act 2 questions (others underway :) )
• Completed Appearance Vs. Reality sheet
• Completed Stereotypes sheet
• Working on tabloid

Calculus:

• Completed almost all work for second unit
• Almost complete review
• Working on word problems section in unit 3

Other:

• Completed scholarship letters
• have written 1 essay and have 3 to go...
• Filled out extra scholarship forms

Superfit:

• I am really sick right now (thanks to my Dad's lovely cold!)
• I will be back at it again soon :)
• And the blog is up dated too
